A Tribe Called Quest, 2 Live Crew, Beastie Boys, De La Soul, Brand Nubian, Big Daddy Kane, Gang Starr, Funkmaster Flex, Gang Starr, Geto Boys, Heavy D, Ghostface Killah, Guru, Ice Cube, KRS-One, Kid ‘N Play, Kurtis Blow, Marley Marl, LL Cool J, Lord Finesse, Naughty By Nature, Pete Rock and C.L. Smooth, N.W.A., Public Enemy, Slick Rick, Salt N’ Pepa, Ultramagnetic MC’s, Richie Rich, Run-DMC, Tupac, to name a few, have sampled this 1975 hit.
